OYV Kayak and Adventure offers international active Sea Kayak Adventures throughout the Americas. Our activities include sea kayaking or
hiking in areas such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Panama for
individuals, couples, groups and families. Accommodations can be
camping, family homestays, bed and breakfasts or hotels. These
adventures offer opportunities to experience the preserved nature and
culture of these world class areas while leaving the least impact
possible.
The story behind the name OYV Kayak and Adventure:
OYV stands for Olas Y Vientos. Olas y vientos is Spanish for "waves and
winds." Sea conditions that effect us most while kayaking are the
waves and winds. Out of respect for them, we have named our company
after these elements. This name was conceived in Latin America and we
have kept it in Spanish because of our connection to the language and
culture of this region.
